A revamped Subiaco Oval is on hold for two years because there are other priorities such as a children’s hospital, Premier Colin Barnett says. Mr Barnett dashed hopes that Subiaco Oval could get a $600 million redevelopment in the near future, but he said the Government would be happy to look at any proposals by the AFL and WA Football Commission. “We don’t rule it out, but I made it very clear to the football commission this issue is on hold for two years,” he said.
