Texans Reject Rick Perry’s Wacky Idea

As I noted yesterday, Texas Governor hinted that secession was an option for his state if the Federal Government continued to grow. Today, a new Rasmussen poll shows that the vast majority of his state’s residents disagree: Thirty-one percent (31%) of Texas voters say that their state has the right to secede from the United States and form an independent country.
